A Spell, from the spellbook of Macbeth's Witches, to become invisible to man.
Recite:
Froth, broth,
Nothing Loathe,
Winds blow w' mickle wroth.
Lizard, left with bones, in roast
Of its blood prepare the toast
Made to Hecate by night,
Drink toast, recite:
When the stars throw down their light.
On ground, all around,
Dancers make no trace of sound.
Dance in silence, one round - make the signs of
Koth, and Baal. Recite:
Soft flesh, grass press,
Sing voiceless choir, bless
Falcon loosed forgive its jess.
So we, set free,
Make our worship joyously.
Embrace all. Recite.
Those who seek us in the dark,
Trap the dog's first midnight bark,
From black cat's corpse the white bone boil,
Slay not the beast though, lest your toil,
End as 'tis said in Ulthar where,
None may thus such a beast impair.
Instead take one, slain by its kin,
Or by some enemy of man.
Bow to it first, and mourn its pain,
Or else the bone will bring no gain.
Place white bone under tongue.
Become invisible.
