The Saga (random wikipedia poem)

Then as the hammering in his forge, stilled, the Iron Master,
rose to hail the day, that Tiger Claw had earned his secret name,
and to explain, to all the hosts, him hailed, how
first began the war twixt Arashikage Clan and the Red Ninjas.

Thus, he said, it was - the rivalry of Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow.
In that first set of trials that they were given, by the Hard Master
of those ancient days, which ended with the blame - if not the blood -
of family believed by one, to be shed by the other.

Thus that ire, that fire that dies not,
And the two are cleaved, the one to Cobra.
The other to mourn.

Then, from shadow's caul, the one call Duke, who standing
With Snake-Eyes, told Tiger Claw that someday, wounds will heal
And Storm Shadow return to Arashikage.

But then, as if, to speak of the lost one, were but to summon him -
Storm Shadow then appears, the rest is war,
Violence resolving nothing,
Endless grief.

Poem suggested by random wikipedia page : G.I. Joe: Ninja Battles is a film that was released on DVD in late 2004, as part of the Ninja Battles set of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero figures. In it, the history of the Arashikage Clan, as well as the history of Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow's rivalry, are examined through a series of trials. Scenes from both G.I. Joe: Spy Troops and G.I. Joe: Valor vs. Venom are used, with a brief period of new animation at the end of the movie.[1]
