Gjovalin Gjadri (random wikipedia poem)

On Gjovalin Gjadri, and Fame.

Gjadri who built the bridge near Milot, on the Mat,
And also set the span in Tirana
On Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard
Was born in Shkodër
His first name – to English readers - looks,
As if it might well rhyme with javalin
Gjovalin!  Flung across the rolling waves!
Why is it you, who accomplished, real things,
In stone and steel should merit, so few words
While I, who wrote some tales, have many more?
Is it that words, breed words?
Well then, may all the children of the bridges,
Sing, their cables strung like harp strings,
To your praise.
