If Ogden Nash wrote on School Shootings

I don't think I could ever be pally,
With someone who couldn't tell the difference between Degas and Dali.
I'd find it hard to be a chum see,
with those who can't discourse on Noam Chomsky.
And as soon as confuse the Sun with Fomalhaut,
I'd feel akin with those confused by Foucault,
But sooner to such ignoranti,
I'd cleave before the folk whose hearts are scanty,
And think the cure to children being shot is,
to arm teachers from feet to epiglottis.
